Folio is made by one person, so mail arrives at the person who wrote the code. Expect an answer within a few days.
Report a problem
Anything you can tell me narrows the search. Most useful, roughly in order:
- What you were doing, and what happened instead.
- The device and its system version — an iPad Pro on iPadOS 26, say.
- Whether it happens every time, or happened once.
- If it concerns one particular score, which file — and whether it opens elsewhere. Only send a file you have the right to share.
A screenshot or a short screen recording is worth a long description, and a recording of a page turn going wrong is worth several.
Restore a purchase
Folio Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It belongs to your Apple Account, so it follows you to a new iPad without being bought again.
It should restore by itself. Folio checks with the App Store each time it launches, so signing in with the Apple Account that bought it is usually the whole procedure.
If it has not: open Settings in Folio and tap Restore Purchases.
If that reports nothing to restore, the device is signed into a different Apple Account than the one that bought it. That is the usual cause, and the App Store — not Folio — is where the account is changed.
If a purchase was charged and still will not restore, mail me. Refunds are Apple's to give, through reportaproblem.apple.com, but I would like to know what went wrong regardless.
